Sacked on the eve of Christmas, absolutely brutal from PSG.

Glad poch won't be going to an English club, but can't stand PSG.

I think it’s a good move for him. Been out of a job for a while now, it’s time to get back in.

Getting the likes of Neymar and Mbappe to work hard for the team off the ball will be his main issue to get his system working but if he can handle the egos he will do well.

Good opportunity to top up his CV with some trophies.

Yea, look forward to all his critics saying it's an easy trophy for him to win, whilst their whole argument has been he never won a trophy at spurs (ignoring all the great work he did).

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is though. He did great work at Spurs but never managed to win cups despite coming so close. At PSG, you don't have to be the best manager to win the domestic titles in France. What they want is the CL. He wins that and then he can put his critics to bed.

Not sure even Real Madrid would stoop that low and sack a manager on Christmas eve.

Thoughts are with Tiny Tim Tuchel.

Would be a good replacement for Ole. Prefer him to Pochettino.

Question. What has he done for you to want him at United?

I enjoy the football his team’s play.

Fair but in reality he hasn’t exceeded expectations at Dortmund or PSG.

If he’s jobs at both of those clubs were a round of golf he would be level par.

I think he exceeded expectations in his first season at Dortmund. It’s pretty much impossible to exceed expectations at PSG.

But either way, even being par and playing nice football is difficult to come by. He wouldn’t be my ideal choice, but he’s a good coach that could get us playing nice football and probably get better results.

The bar isn’t that high to become Manchester United manager. And it’s not that high for me for who I’d like to see.

I reckon the Arsenal board will go for him

Did he? Klopp won 2 titles there. It’s possible.

At PSG he’s won the league as any half decent manager would but PSG should be getting close to 100 points in reality.

He’s CL record is also modest. He reached the final under a different format with an easy run in CL terms.

He’s a decent manager but I wouldn’t be crying out for us to appoint him.

Yes, they finished seventh in Klopp’s final season and weren’t expected to be anywhere near Pep’s Bayern, yet they challenges for the title. Winning the title isn’t really an expectation at Dortmund. Klopp winning it was amazing, but they wouldn’t have won any if Bayern were as good as they were under Pep - they didn’t have any competition like that.

Nobody is crying out for him. I’m just saying he’s a good coach would be a good replacement for Ole.

Fair enough. If Ole isn’t up to it I’d rather someone better personally. I’ve always found Tuchel a little underwhelming.
