Cavani's goal and celebration

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4N6HK4ALyw

I just love every part of this... The build up play, the finish, Cavani's crazy celebration and the team joyous around him. The confidence and happiness in the team is palpable.

Still plenty of ups and downs to come... and it's not all rosy. But wow, i'm happy with Ole and the boys.

Merry Christmas reds!

I don’t know why, but I always thought he was left footed

Lovely girl and team spirit. Just mentioned his celebration on my article. Cracked up when I saw it

On his weaker foot too apparently, just needs to improve his link up play a bit

I think at this stage of his career what you see is what you get

We are just starting to build up some momentum again. A good place to be.

One of the things from last night is how we kept on the front foot early in the game. We didn’t keep giving the ball away.

Cavani helps in this because with Beekers and Pogba further forward than usual you have some players with a football brain.

Cavani is class and has brought a winners mentality with him. The way he plays probably rubs off on the others too.

We played well last night for 25 minutes at the start of the game. It was a very good sustained period of pressure with and without the ball.

Our attacks were swift, the passing was sharp and accurate and we didn't let Everton settle into the game by taking many touches. It was great to see. It's just a shame we weren't rewarded with a couple of goals.

I don't know what's triggered these improved starts in games but if they carry on and become much more of a constant, that's a big positive because starting games slowly and on the back foot is an issue which has plagued this club for a number of years.

That was LVG, he wanted that. Remember how often it was 0-0 at half time when he was manager.

Still don’t get why he grabbed the geezer by the throat, 100% red card with VAR
