Always felt Tuchel was overrated. Some on here talked about him as potential future United boss. Can’t see why.

I can tell you exactly who one of them was. Robb after he got Dortmund challenging again after Klopp left.

He’s a good coach. Does seem to be a bit volatile with the senior management at his clubs, however. May not work out that well at United for that reason. But I’m not sure getting sacked by PSG is a reason to not want someone at the club. Our current manager was sacked by Cardiff, that hasn’t put people off.

Yeah he’s a good manager, I think virtually all managers would struggle to get PSG firing at the very highest level when their domestic competition isn’t so strong. I’m sure he’ll still be in demand for a good job soon.

He's had clashes with those above him and some of his staff, not all his fault of course but I've read he can be quite a difficult person to warm to.

1982, I don’t even think that’s the biggest issue for PSG. It’s that their squad is so injury prone, and lacks the depth that their previous squads had due to the massive amounts of money they’ve committed to Neymar and Mbappe. It’s something Tuchel had spoken about.

What he did with Spurs was more impressive than winning trophies at PSG will be. It’s a weird job, it can only really harm your reputation rather than enhance it, as unless you win the CL it’s not really viewed as anything other than expected.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the other hand, it can get you paid quite a lot of money.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So can the Man United job. All that does is harm your reputation as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess Solksjaer is the only one of the four who we’ve seen since SAF who’ll leave with an improved reputation.
Not that his starting point was particularly high

This is true.
