T'was two nights before Christmas
And all round the ground
It seemed very quiet
Hardly a sound
2000 spectators
Watching the game
In a Cup quarter-final
That seems such a shame.
For the first 30 minutes
United were best
But Olsen the goalie
Stood up to the test
The toffees best player
Calvert-Lewin played hard
VAR wasn't used
So Cavani - no card!
But Ole stayed calm
He's learning his trade
And late in the game
Substitutions were made
Martial and Rashford
Brought into the fight
Cavani and Rashford
Proved Ole was right.
In the draw for the semis
United got City
Would have made a great final
So a bit of a pity
In less than two weeks
That game will be played
Santa wears red and white
Hope that City get sleighed.

There's one I did on Carp Fishing a few years ago that is still on the Fishing page. Another one was specifically aimed at a bloke who ripped me off for a lot of money so it was about him burgling his Mum's house..
