Interesting developments

At RB Leipzig, picked up and announced by the German Bild magazine Sports Director, Christian Falk, which is that the club is finding it increasingy hard to pay its top earner Marcel Sabitzer's wages, and are willing to listen to offers from Spurs. There has been talk between Jose and Sabitzer before on a move to Spurs with the player being keen but the club reluctant to let him go, until now. The player is available at 35m Euros.
Another interesting development is the role of Vinicius. It's emerging that Jose has less and less confidence on the loanee, and hasn't used him for the Stoke game in the Carabao Cup game. It seems to be a lack of trust there.
It's now being talk of a possible interest and a deal with striker Wout Weghorst of Wolfsburg, This is again from Christian Falk.

Like I said these are the latest developments, and driven by Falk who is usually a reliable source.

Sabitzer in, Dele out? Nothing to suggest that however, Sabitzer would be a great coup for Jose but if it's true, where does this leave Dele?

Like I said, right now these are the latest details coming out of Germany.

On what basis do you state that “it is emerging that Jose has less confidence on Vinicius”?
Purely from this Falk guy?

Transfer news: Messi, Dele to PSG; Sabitzer to Tottenham...............
And Pochettino to take over at PSG from Tuchel.
The source for all this may be about as reliable as Falk, but.........
Would Levy pay the asking price for Sabitzer, even if he got good money for Alli?

Did Vinicius do a flick somewhere on the pitch before he scored a goal in ropey?
The only ones who can do a job is Costa or Fellaini.

certainly need to improve the midfield, then again i wonder with the system and style of football we play if it is a concern for Mourinho

Surely we can't keep signing all the non-homegrown players without implications for our squad? Sabitzer looks like a quality signing but we're already struggling to meet the homegrown quote. Selling Alli and buying Sabitzer makes that worse.

I haven't checked this yet but apparently we have a slot for 1 more "foreign" signing? We are also cutting short loan deal for Gedson, and couple of youngsters are going out on loan. On the same vein, Parrot will be recalled as he has not featured in the last few games.

Sorry- but you didn’t answer my question.
There is nothing in the link about Vinicius. So, on what basis are you stating that Jose Mourinho had lost confidence in him?
Also the link you sent had no attributable quotes backing up what you’re saying.

One of the poorer elements of this forum is the use of it to propel unsubstantiated transfer gossip by merely attaching links to news articles from people you’ve never heard of.
And the same people who do this are those who sometimes call out lazy journalism.
