STAT ATTACK

Liverpool have won just four of their last 13 top-flight matches against the Baggies (D6, L3).
Five of the last seven league meetings have ended in draws.

Sam Allardyce earned just two points in his first 12 league games as a manager away to Liverpool, but he is unbeaten in his last three matches at Anfield (W1, D2).

Mohamed Salah has been directly involved in 15 goals in 10 Premier League appearances against newly-promoted teams, scoring nine goals and assisting six.

Liverpool's last Anfield defeat against a newly-promoted side was a 2-1 loss to Blackpool on 3 October 2010.

The Reds have won all seven of their home league games this season, at least three more than any other top-flight side.

This month's 1-1 draw at Fulham ended Liverpool's run of 18 consecutive league victories against newly-promoted teams, although under Klopp all 14 games at Anfield have ended in a win for the Premier League champions.

Yeah bigger picture and all that, but we've now had 1-1 draws against Brighton, West Brom and Fulham who currently sit 16th, 18th and 19th.

I never expect us to win every game, even more so this season, but that's incredibly poor.

Mate that’s football unfortunately. We are still the best team in this league.

Everyone’s doing it though, it’s just that kind of season. I don’t get why so many are having full on tantrums, I’m worried they won’t survive the season because this won’t be the last time this happens.

I get where you're coming from but that would make us 9 points clear in December which, imo, is unrealistic.

Well like I say I'm not expecting to win every game, but no wins v those 3 is poor.

Should be getting 5-7 points.

Yeah I know but I find it pretty hard to grumble when we're top of the league with the best goal difference and have lost a mere once.

Maybe we'd have lost one of those in the past, might be those points that win it for us, etc, etc.

Anyone know why WBA goal wasnt offside? They had 2 players off. Not interfering?

Anyway we drew cos of a sloppy piece of play from a teenager and then conceded from a set piece after Matip has gone off.

I thought we missed Jota today really and I've no doubt that Thiago would help. Given all the injuries, in fact even everyone was fit, if you'd offered me the position we're in now at the start of the season I would have said yes, thank you.

I agree but I think it's the lost opportunities that are grating, especially given the performances when the players would have known the situation before the game.

We need a player to actually have a shot from distance in these games. Ox is the only one who tries
