This just rubber stamps this season as the tainted, meaningless sham that it is.

Just like last season, there are too many variables and inconsistencies at work for the competition to retain its integrity.

Everton and any other club that finds their games postponed due to an opposing club’s Covid situation should be fuming.

Why should they suffer with a congested schedule further into the season?

Seriously, people aren’t thinking this through. Because of covid, some clubs didn’t have normal pre-season break. Because of covid, last season ended with a congested schedule.

This season will be no different. Because of covid.
