Sorry, if it isn't a footy subject but I think this is the reality we live in now.
It's become so difficult to see relatives and family with these tier systems, specially those who are unwell and may need help urgently.
My dad is bed ridden ,and has Alzheimer's and my mum looks after him as best as she can, but it has become harder on her to go out in tier 4 to get shopping for necessary stuff, as she could get Covid easily.
They both live in London under tier 4 and I live in tier 4 now, in Sussex.
I haven't been able to go and take the necessary stuff for them because in tier 4, travel is restricted.
All I can say is that in these tough times, we have seen so many local initiatives by ordinary local folks who have organised not only emergency food bags but have even provided with Christmas food.
I think we should not forget these folks, I am eternally grateful to them.
It's time like theses that we roll up our sleeves and help our neighbours and these make me feel glad I am alive

Sorry to hear about your folks MoreSpurs.
Pretty sure they can form your bubble and you can travel to them if they are vulnerable.
You can take them what they need and leave it on the doorstep and talk to them from a safe distance.
But your’re right. It really is the worst of times.
