It sounds rough. I’m lucky in that I’m working from home and don’t really miss the social thing too much; just have to hope the family stay clear as well. I’m aware every evening that, so far, I’m at the more fortunate end of the Covid spectrum.

I was negative.

Amazing had 3 days with her after she tested positive before I was tested. Couldn't believe I was still negative after my test. So immediately divided the house Steptoe & Son style (ask your dad). And sweated it out.

Isolation ended today. Wife is knackered, cant taste or smell and weak and breathless. She was called this morning by the NHS to ask if she was returning to work on Weds morning as the they can't cope with the admissions after Christmas and need her to fill the ranks.

Shamefull.

Just saw #OleOut trending on Twitter, assumed it was a joke.... 50% of comments are serious and bile ridden.

Our worst posters here are the very best of Twitter

Absolutely. Mental as some are on here, i would guess that ja606 is probably one of the most sensible platforms on the Internet to discuss football.

Fack me. That is the most depressing thing I’ve read in 2020.

She's got to put herself and her family first at some point, and they have to understand that, surely?

It's not the time to make political points about nursing pay, hours, the fact thay have to pay for the fecking car park at the hospital and that they don't seem to want any overseas workers in to support the NHS because of some vague notion of sovereignty that no one understands.

If it was, I'd make those points, because it boils my piiss.

If you were to make those points, I would argue now is exactly the time to make them. The NHS was on its knees anyway. And education for that matter.
At least they've got all those claps ey
