When will they win?

Another defeat for Sheffield United today. That means this season after 16 games they have a record of:
Won - 0 (zero)
Drawn - 2
Lost - 14
For - 8
Against - 27

Now the worst start to a Premier League season, even taking into account Portsmouths 9 point deduction in 09/10.

Unbelievable, especially considering they were chasing a European place last season - before lockdown (won 3 out of 26 since the lockdown break)

So, who will be the first team they beat this season?

02/01 - Crystal Palace (a) - Next game, won the reverse fixture last season. Palace not in the best form.

12/01 - Newcastle United (h) - The Barcodes did the double over the Blades last season.

17/01 - Tottenham Hotspur - (h) - When they smashed Spurs 3-1 in this fixture last season, their first win post-lockdown, few would have predicted their prediciment this season. Could they repeat the feat?

27/01 - Manchester United - (a) - Surely no hope against the title chasing Red Devils.

30/01 - Manchester City - (a) - Staying in Manchester for surely another defeat.

02/02 - West Brom - (h) - West Brom won the reverse fixture 1-0, WBA only win. Would be charitable if they returned the favour.

06/02 - Chelsea - (h) - Their last win, a 3-0 win over Chelsea in June at Bramall Lane. Could it be their next? Possibly.

I predict they will win in this set of games. Does anyone see them completing the season as the opposite of invincible?

Derby will be hoping they won't hit the 11 point mark.

Between both boxes they haven't been much different to last season, the two big differences are they aren't taking the few chances they create and have significantly downgraded on keeper.

Yeah, last season they won a lot of games they could have lost or drawn, this season is reveresed.

I’ve had a cheeky £20 bet on them staying up at 7-1

Can't see them nor West Brom getting close to 17th. Still expect Fulham to go with them.

If they haven’t won by the time they face Spurs then you can bet your life savings on the THFC Benevolent Charitable Foundation for Struggling Opposition will come to the rescue with a very generous donation of 70.% possession and as many attempts to score as you fancy, an individual error and/or a late set piece goal to see them on their way.

You often see a team that has overachieved in their 1st year up drop off massively in the next season.

Not by this much though.

The signing of Brewster has not worked so far either.
