PSG is a good move for everyone

I would have preferred to see Potch as our manager but I don't think him going to PSG is the end. I see it as stepping stone in his career that makes sense for all involved.

There will be less pressure there... he will win trophies and have a chance to try his hand at managing top stars with big egos.

Ole can continue here at least until the end of the season which I believe he has earned. I personally didn't want anyone else to replace Ole other than Poch so I'm happy for him to stay until we find the right man for the long-term job.

We'll see if Poch can manage a big club and I could easily see him leaving PSG to manage United even if he wins it all with them.

Its just stage 1 of OleOut moving the goalposts and starting to begrudgingly accept that they have may have been wrong about the whole PE teacher thing.

They will be sucking Ole's Nobb before the season is out.

Talking of Nobbs. He will be back on here before long grovelling for forgiveness.

Wouldn't have thought so, while the PE Teacher's in charge. He was pretty unequivocal on his opinion of Ole's fitness for the job.

Which was pretty much 'because he wasn't Potch'.

Yet he beat the drum for Moyes & Mourinho until the day they were mercifully put down. One an Everton manager on work experience, the other a merc that didn't give a feck about United. He's an odd character.

The way Ed works we'll wake up to find Poch appointed.

----------------------------------------------

Not with us sitting in 2nd we won't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's Ed

1 step forward 2 backwards.

Panic mode because he thinks Poch will be missed.

*Note I'm not suggesting we should do this. More that Ed is a mess

It doesn't matter how much of a mess Ed is or what $hit decisions he's made in the past, he's not going to get rid of a manager while we are sitting 2nd in the league, 3 points off Liverpool and with a game in hand, no matter who's available or who won't be soon.

Didn't he get rid of LVG because Jose was available?

Nothing surprises me with Ed, is the point

Not even Ed could be that stupid

No he got rid of Van Gaal because we failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Suggesting Ed could sack Ole now is just as daft as suggesting he should at this point.

Ed doesn’t panic because he thinks a manager will be missed out on. That would suggest he has some foresight.

Until we find the right man? Still not behind the manager then clearly are you?

We've got more pts than anyone in 2020 now (that could change in 2 hrs though if the dips win). How is that not the right man? Ole can lead us forwards if he's given the tools.

It's time to suck those lemons and admit you were wrong. Ole is doing a fine job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been very consistent in saying Ole has overachieved at his job but that he is not the guy long-term.

Poch was perfect for United especially because of his record as a coach with limited resources in the pl.

My urgency for getting rid of Ole was directly tied to his availability and fear that we would miss out yet again. Which we have.

No top manager is going to come to us mid season. Let's see what happens. Still half a season to go. But once again Ole not the man for the job long-term as he is literally learning on the job and it shows.
