I'm very disappointed that after having waited so long for a decent back up striker, signed one and seen him show flashes of quality in his limited appearances, that he has bizarrely been frozen out and given almost no Premier League minutes.

Yes, I am very disappointed too.

The guy looks good and it is hard to showcase more, when the side is told to limit itself in attacks, and yet Vini played some nice link-up play - one with Lucas, and has scored a simple goal which I am sure previous flops would have missed.

Vini has the height and also the technical ability to do well. Lack experience in this league but, he needs to be playing to gain that.

Lucas has been disappointing for me and seems to be proving the stereotype of being only able to impact when coming on as a late sub.

I think to blindly go for Costa and lets say it fails, that's worse then trying to give Vini more game time.

Nothing to lose to play Vini or bring him on to play alongside Kane.

Tbh you don't know that

All I am saying is we have invested in Vini, and we should try him.

Though if Costa is being brought in to help Vini for the next few months, then I am happy with that.

In the meantime, Costa can give it as good as anyone on the pitch and with Lamela, both can give out shlthousery in stereo!
