I have been one of his critics on here but I am happy to give credit where it is due. We have had some terrible performances this season but Ole has recovered well and has made some good tactical decisions recently.
I really hope he can learn from his mistakes and perhaps hire some help coaching-wise rather than relying too much on expensive new signings.
On that note, it seems we're still in for Sancho but I really hope we don't splash 90+ million on him. We need to have a system and start spending our money more wisely. This all comes down to coaching and having a long-term strategy.
Well Done Ole

And yes, if we had started the league with a Klopp/Pep caliber manager with this squad, people would be saying we should be challenging on all fronts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough, I disagree. I think our defence are not even top 5 in the league and we lack the experience required to win a title, both will tell over the next few months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are in the conversation now and Ole has earned that right. I think we have one of the best squads in the league. It's on Par with Liverpool's in terms of depth in my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We might not be far off in terms of depth. But Klopp has six bona fide world class players at his disposal.
Their first XI is streets ahead of ours in terms of individual ability.

Can't agree here...
Even in our current position, I think you'd struggle to find many Liverpool/City fans that would take more than couple of players in our team for their first XI.
Bruno, Pogba maybe, Rashers at a push

You should be praising the officials, not Gollum

Nah they've given Leicester two more penalties than us so far. That's not right. We are United and we get the most. It's the law.

Which is part down to Klopp and his coaching staff.
Not many people, even the most optimistic Liverpool fans would have predicted Salah and Mane becoming the players they are now.

Forget the fans, every manager in the world would love to work with the players we have in attack including the managers of those two clubs.

I think the players play very well in Klopp's system that makes them look better than they are. I don't think if you put those players in other teams (see international performances) that you get as much out of them. But I agree their first 11 are performing at a higher level. The league is a squad effort though and I expect us to challenging for that reason.

“ I really hope he can learn from his mistakes and perhaps hire some help coaching-wise rather than relying too much on new signings.”
It’s a young side who also need to go through their woes if they’re to become a title winning side. It isn’t only ole learning.
I also find it strange you say he shouldn’t rely on new signings. Do you feel this is a squad capable of winning PL or CL titles?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst I appreciate it's a young side, we also have experienced players in the squad. I also think a more experienced coach with a system of playing could help the players faster.
I didn't want to turn this into an ole out vs ole in article but I do feel that we have one of the best squads in the league. Yes we need 1 or 2 players but ole has spent a lot of money already and I would prefer to spend the money more wisely rather than going for the obvious 90+ million targets in every position.
