They’ve just announced Poch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pleased for him. I hope he gets PSG to a CL final next season and Spurs beat them in the final.

Yeah pleased for Poch and am relieved he's not going to a fellow PL club anytime soon. That would not have felt right at all.

Jose has hinted at Berg may be carrying some knock and may be why he's not been as clinical as he can be - who can forget his swivel and volley against City last year?
A bit worrying to hear this.

Decent performance too. We created several chances and on another day, could have had 5 or 6.
Wish he would leave NDombele on the pitch though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree about Nbombele. Surely the best way to get fit enough to play 90 minutes, is to play 90 minutes?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’d think so!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He looked a little annoyed didn’t he? Though maybe that’s because Jose didn’t give him his breather earlier
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What makes you think he was worried? Maybe he needed a rest bite after running ragged against Leeds?

Been saying in another thread that I don’t think I’ve ever felt so empty after a 3-0 win. It’s crazy but I don’t know where we’re heading playing like this. You don’t win the league without playing on the front foot. Simple as that. As nice as this win is, it’s against Leeds. They’re so open that goals were always on the cards today.
The most alarming thing for me is that 78% of our goals this season have been provided by 2 players. The best teams in the league spread that burden out so when they have injuries, it doesn’t affect them too much. Lose Son or Kane and we’re screwed. It reminds me of the AVB years when Bale kept flattering him by getting us out of trouble. The same is happening here. Son and Kane are making Jose look good buy getting him out of trouble. I’m fine with winning playing dreadful football but I don’t just want some meaningless League Cup win to show for it. Add the FA Cup and the Europa League and we might have a deal. Long term this is not the solution though. I’d rather see a project manager like Nangelsmann come in and build the club from the bottom. This is Mourinho’s second season and the one he’s always successful in so if it doesn’t happen now, he’s gone next year. It always goes sour eventually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are Kane and Son getting Jose out of trouble or is he playing to their advantages?
It’s no shock that our two World class players are scoring goals and winning matches.
