Zaha lacks ambition. Either that or he is being held hostage by Palace.

imo Zaha has missed out as he stunk the place out at utd and has blown hot and cold all the time at palace.


he also signed a massive contract in 2018 with palace so wants for nothing. big fish small pond.

Didn’t Palace essentially price him out of a move?
I think he’s said himself that he was “depressed” in Manchester, the club sorted a house for him but it was nowhere near his team mates, didn’t sort out a car for him (normal for clubs to give players cars?) and that he just didn’t feel comfortable in his surroundings.

He also wasn’t getting game time, and there was that mad rumour (which Evra casually referred to live on Sky a few months ago ) with Zaha and Moyes’ daughter.

Hard to know with him... maybe he likes the big fish little pond thing...certainly his game would improve with better players round him

Mind you a couple are a bit flakey

I agree with mf regarding his contract. He signed a big contract with Crystal Palace at the most important moment of his career. He wanted to leave, and other clubs were interested in signing him. But he was tied to CP unless someone was prepared to stump up a huge fee. That was his and his agent’s fault. He’s still a great player, and when his contract with Palace ends he may still be able to play at the highest level for another 1-2 years.
