Finished Neil Ruddock's latest book this morning. I must say, it's an absolute necessity if you love a good funny footie book. Paul Merson's is one of my favourites and Ruddock's is definitely in the same vein. You'll pick this up intending to read a chapter before bed, but it's so funny you'll end up reading 3!
Ruddock Book Review *****

Some highlights:
**SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T YET READ BUT WANT TO**
Ruddock and other Liverpool players packing then manager Roy Evans' suitcase with women's underwear after European away games, so Evans' wife would think he'd literally got stuck in away from home
Arguing with his wife that he wanted to call their daughter Pebbles, but then agreeing with Mrs Ruddock they'd call her Ivy Grace. Ruddock then took the liberty to name her Pebbles Ivy Grace anyway, before looking at the birth certificate and seeing her initials were P I G Ruddock
About to go to Liverpool training with Jason McAteer, but McAteer locked himself out of his new Porsche with the keys in the ignition. Anyway they both try to break into his car before a copper turns up, thinking they're two ch@vs trying to rob the Porsche. Ruddock explains the situation and the copper tells McAteer that if he goes and gets a clothes hanger, the copper can break into the car. So McAteer goes away and gets a WOODEN clothes hanger
They're literally just a few of many, many funny stories in his book.

Am sure he’s got some funny stories to tell and having watched him on the programme with Harry Redknapp, its clear he’s got a few demons as well, nice to support people like that imo.

Fear he won't make old bones if he don't adjust his lifestyle.

It’s hard to believe he was ever a pro footballer looking at him now. I heard Houllier had Captain Haddock in his sights as soon as he took the reigns at Liverpool.
I would love to read his book.
