2nd half positive: Kai & Cal

Partnerships are (in)valuable…struck one on the pitch with Kai – Cal.
Our highest scoring open play partnership and in general our most understanding this season despite only playing together for a small amount.
Solid foundations to build on which could be a deadly formula going forward, given a run of games.

Surprised at how quickly he's been able to form an understanding with Kai? Absolutely not!
Cal just happens to be the BEST at forging partnerships (already seen sync with Loftus-Cheek, Azpi, Kante, Willian, Gilmour, Morata, Giroud, Mount, Tammy, James etc to name a few).

Time to unleash the all-round phenomenon called Callum Hudson-Odoi that is free from Covid and injuries for a lengthy run of games.
We are better off with the in the team, invariably delivers!
No time to be cautious.

Partnerships need to start developing all over the pitch more than anything else, to overcome this rut.
The Tammy - Kai was promising but short-lived, need to rediscover that telepathic connection. Another one that should it get going again, will be the beginnings of something special.
