Arsenal have just taken 9 points in 3 games. They lie 6 points from the top 4, albeit having played a game or 2 more than most up there.
Should we be worried?
Well, when you consider that, with the exception of the hapless/winless SHeff Utd, there are no teams in worse form than BHA, WBA and Chelsea, perhaps we can all relax a little bit.
Brighton - 4 pts from last 18
Chelsea - 4 pts from last 18
WBA - 2 pts from last 18
If it proves anything then perhaps its that Arsenal are not total rubbish, there are some worse teams out there, like Chelsea

If only we bothered to attack them we might’ve beat them too

I feel like that was another mistake by Jose. He gave them too much cred, probability due to the unbeaten run they had but they were very fortunate too during .
some of those games.
Once we establish the capability of a team during a game, we don't seem to be able to change it up and become more attacking.

I said to a few Arsenal fans when thry were on a blip not to worry.
In all fairness to em when they were loosing games they were not playing badly.
I don't think we need to worry.

I think most Arsenal fans would say they were playing badly
They were never gonna get relegated though. That talk was ridiculous

I think relegation talk was more out of hope than expectation

I think Arsenal are in this position because they have made too many dud signings in the past few years.
They have really squandered the increased revenue from their stadium and the TV money. Plus their wage bill is huge for a non Champions League club.
They still have a few stars in the squad but they have far too many players that aren't good enough to even challenge for a top four spot.

In our defence, I think with the stadium we were expecting to put ourselves way ahead financially but then the TV money came in and it ended up not really making a huge difference.
I think our recruitment is mostly better now, but there's still the odd dud in there and we're still paying for previous windows where we bought badly and put the players onto huge wages.
Our squad is about 6/7th best in the league & not really sure on Arteta yet, so I've got no idea where we'll finish. Just gotta hope we get rid of a lot of wages this window and make a decent signing or two and continue to push on.

‘Continue to push on’?
You’ve got steadily worse over the course of the past 2 years.

It is funny the piece of information that some people will take from a comment. Maybe reading anything beyond the first four words and the last four words is too much? Best to be safe anyway:

Its a pity we approached the chelsea game like they were gods of football.

Chelsea game, they were in much better form than now and its their cup final. If they played us tomorrow they would raise their game way above the recent poor level.
Very easy in hindsight to be critical of our approach at a ground where we have a dreadful record.
Plus, like them, we are a team in development. I think for our confidence and progression it was better we did not lose that game in the midst of a very difficult run of games.
