this is so badly written it isn't clear what you are trying to say, but if you're saying that united have won more PL penalties than any other team that isn't true:

i think this has already been pointed out 2 or 3 times on this thread, so we appear to have one of those tiresome posters who makes their point, doesn't bother to read/digest other people's responses, and then just makes the same point again.

The stat i read had Utd at 151 and Liverpool 149.

Happy to be corrected

Doesnt really change the point that if you ait top then you're right next to being top....like you are now, like you have been over the last 2 years, 5 years 10 years etc.

Devonshire, you really don't seem to grasp the fact that it all comes down to how you split the timings.

It's a conscious choice to take a period of time where United have got a lot, rather than other periods of time and other stats... presumably because you want to make it look like a pattern, when it isn't one.

Most pens last season with a record high. Most pens the year before. Currently 2nd most pens this season. A pattern, not an anomoly.

You can expand this over the whole EPL era and no one has had more pens awarded than Utd., but over a 2.5 year period, which is a reasonable sample time in the EPL (longer than you've had your current manager and longer than the av. ternure of an EPL manager), you're the Pen Champs!

Yeah....my agenda is to educate United fans who dont believe they've had an unusually high amount of penalties in the last couple seasons

You deny it, call it an anomaly, and refer to the last 6 seasons or more to try and argue against 26 in 2 seasons being unprecedented and exceptionally high!
