I don't know much about treatment of football pitches but will give an opinion regardless, because why not.

Wouldn't be surprised for it to look much better at the start of the game and be back to how it was by the end of it. How much can they really resolve in 3 weeks?

Google - Football pitch grass grow lights. Leeds have used them before. The website had a really striking picture of them on the website once, couldn't find that one though.

Most Prem club use them if it's the orange ones you're referring to.

I thought it was pitch black !

I really hope we'll play better with a better pitch surface. We've generally looked lacklustre at home compared to most of our away performances.

Can only be a good thing!
