Benching Bailly

United fans all over the world expressed joy at the end of the Villa match when they saw our players (including the subs) surround Bailly to congratulate him after his tremendous performance which he crowned by his superb block. It was the return of the team spirit that we had sadly lacked since Sir Akex's retirement. Benching Bailly tonight in favour Lindelof was not only disrespectful towards Bailly, but also towards the team spirit he brought back by his performance.

As well as Bailly has been playing, the lad has just played 3 games in 8 days. When was the last time he managed that? No surprise that he was rested today.

Really ? We'll see. People said the same thing about Tuanzebe when he returned from injury. But now, he's drying on the bench. Ole's favouritism stinks.

You might be right. But guaranteed that if Bailly had played today and got injured, you'd be blaming ole for over playing him after an injury.

I didn’t have a problem benching Bailly, and as been said, Lindelof and slabhead were good for the most part. City reduced to long shots.
But what is it with Slabhead not reacting to balls in your box. He did it with Leipzig, and agin doesn’t even attempt to clear the ball. Pogba and Rashy should’ve been there at the near post to stop the ball in the first place.
What was more concerning was the lack of foresight to change anything til late.
Ole should’ve seen the team were struggling 2nd half.
McT and Fred shouldn’t have started together.
Play Fred. Play Donny. There’s no need for both McFred. We lose so much in terms of dominating teams with them both there.
And Lindelof and Slabhead doesn’t work. It really doesn’t.

All managers pick what they think is the best team for that match? They all have an idea who their strongest team is, and they will get most games.*To call it favouritism is daft.
