I would put money on most players breaking the rules over Christmas. Many will of had hired staff in on Christmas Day. Some people have more money than the rest of us and do what they want, who knew 🤷‍♂️ Can’t believe anyone can be ar53d complaining about it tbh

And please fellow posters, if you do have to go and stay at a hotel during all this. Take your own cleaning stuff and clean that room proper, when you get in there. If you didn't clean it then don't bloody touch it.

Cleaners at high end hotels get crap wages too and unlike porters and other customer facing staff, they don't get loads of fat tips to make up for it. But then they won't let you into high end hotels so you aren't really likely to know that are ya.

Besides that, the point is nobody else is more responsible for your life than you. Being a Billy Big Balls footballer, doesn't make you suddenly too important and precious to wipe some sh !t down and spray some bleach round the shower and sink before you use them. I mean do you want to die, ultimately because you were too lazy or up yaself to clean a bit in any strange space you have to stay at? Seems borderline suicidal in current circumstances.

So the Arsenal squad carry individual buckets, mops, wet-wipes and a litre of Dettol each and personally deep clean their rooms on arrival.

Highly commendable.
