Yes Ole will eventually have to deliver trophies but he’s done ok in Cups. He’s had very tough draws and has yet to be dumped out of a cup by minnows. In those runs we’ve beaten Chelsea away twice, Arsenal away, PSG over 2 legs, got through in a home replay after drawing Wolves away.
Compare that to LVG and Jose who won trophies at United and in all of those runs they had a favourable draw let’s call a spade a spade. You still have to get over the line but draws to win a trophy rarely come much easier.
I’m not settling for failure or anything but a bit like Klopp at Liverpool if we keep knocking at the door we will eventually get in.

What à lot of fainthearts, of course we can challenge. One loss against City and you all throw the towel in.
No we're not the best team, but it's not always the best, injuries and luck play a part.
We've a good squad now, we don't need to fear anybody.
Get a bit more consistency and we could be up there.
I'm feeling positive, Trumps gone, the vaccine is here, by early summer things should be looking good.
We haven't turned into world beaters under Ole, but no-one can deny that we haven't progressed.
The players signed for the youth set up look great on paper, and I trust Ole to bring them through at the right time and right way.
Come on United, let's get three points against Burnley and a draw will do at Anfield

The way I see it the Sevilla game we should have won by 2 or 3 goals but the players let him down. The Chelsea FA Cup game all 3 goals we conceded usually a top goalkeeper saves them. Barcelona game we had as many chances as them. Wolves away game we had a big chance to equalise but missed. CL group stage stats showed we were the best team in the big games and battered Leipzig home and away and PSG away and the PSG home game all came down to our 2nd half misses. PSG missed nothing until the last few minutes of the game really.
