Further Covid Restrictions in Scotland?

With Covid numbers rising and pressure on the NHS Nicola Sturgeon is concerned and has essentially said 'We need to reduce the number of interactions and if that means that more non-essential activities have to closed to achieve this, then we need to look at that'.

Two of the activities open now that were closed in March are construction and professional sports. And, in England, some are already specifically calling for professional football to be stopped immediatel to help slow the spread of the virus.

One thing I have noticed about this pandemic is that you seem to barely hear of the possibility of further restrictions and then suddenly they are in force..

It was a cracker, tbbab but put 100k on it in 5 yrs battering to Livingston every day and the whole suspension needed replacing according to the dealer? It ate shockers but the balance and handling was so beautiful I could tell right away when one had gone. That and the fact I drove like an @rsehole on the limits where safe. That was the only thing, when the back end went, it went without warning. Never lost it or did a 180 but came close. And it was lethal in the snow. Still the best driving car I had. Got a lot of attention over there and plod more interested in looking at it than stopping me.

Brilliant stuff, rear wheel drive fun?

I had a black M3 about 6 years ago and that was my best drive, and it looked superb, but did not go in snow at all.

Doing overtime one Twelfth, I came off a roundabout on to the motorway and it just started to spin round 180 as the road was damp, so I was literally going up the motorway inti Belfast, backwards.

I hit the barriers and next thing I see is cops running towards me, from the other side of the motorway, one doing the drink pint hand signs to me, thinking I was pashed from Eleventh bonfire session.

Breathilized me, no drink for 5 years then, so all good, and they escorted me back up the motorway, and off to work I went.

Scary as flip going backwards and you can not do anything.

Only 54% of French say they will take the vaccine and 64% of US citizens. This compares with 87% in India and 85% in China, according to Ipsos polls.

Arrogant frog bassas - ban the cvnts including Johnson snr.

Indeed

It will be amusing to reverse the politicising and ban everyone from France and indeed any other country who doesn’t have a recent 48 hour full COVID-19 test allowing them to travel.

I’ll be more than happy that they practically destroy their own tourism industry as I guess many will be heading to safer zones when we do eventually open up for travel again.

Been a place I used to go to but have zero intention of ever setting foot in their country or buying any of their produce ever again.

And no need to go India or China, when both deliver.

They do liver?

And bacon.

Madness..

We allowed flights in from.China and Italy when this began and tens of millions fly in and out, then we wonder why it spreads.

Sat in a sealed confined space with no mask or tests?

Humans are silly

Amazing stats
Guess they could have restricted earlier but overall looks ok or at least a pretty large reduction in people traffic
