COVID cases have doubled in a Chinese city where travel has been banned with officials claiming the new outbreak was imported from Europe.
Shijiazhuang, the capital of northern China's Hebei Province which surrounds Beijing, has the highest numbers seen in China in over five months.
The city has reported over 100 new Covid cases, according to authorities.
Hebei reported 19 local infections and 43 asymptomatic cases between January 2 and January 4, according to data from the provincial health commission.

Watch them lock down and get in under control in a couple of weeks before things return to normal. Brisbane has a lock down with one case. Watch them return to normal in a couple of weeks. It's almost as if swift and decisive action means something.
