The attack is failing because of a failing midfield
The midfield is failing because we are forced to play regular midfielders in defence

GB - sorry you’re wrong . the attacking players are all proven and will come good . Our CB choice is down to one -fab , the rest are not good enough or reliable enough . So we need another player simple as that. Given the points we have dropped lately we can’t afford to have another run like this and I believe that We will not win anything this season if we don’t buy this month .

If the defence is not good enough...then how come we are only conceding 1 goal?? Your arguement doesn't stack up.

Never more than 1 goal conceded yet in 3 of those games no more than 2 goals scored and the villa game was Vs U23s.

So if you are klopp what would you do with the attack then ? He will rely on the players finding form is the answer
If we had a decent CB we would had some choice in midfield - Thiago fab and hendo would make a massive difference to the front 3

The whole shape of the team is effected by no CBs. We dont defend as high, we dont press like we used to, we lose fab from midfield, we dont have a threat from corners or free kicks. Lots of issues which forces Klopp to play differently

The attack? Thiago..shaqiri and I think Jota is a week or so away. That's my answer

I'd drop Salah straight away, everyone can see he's way off and needs a big wakeup call. MF needs a change, and thiago can add that. Then Jota can come back in around 1-2 weeks

Jota is still a few weeks ago according to Klopp.

Salah finished nicely last night, hopefully that gives him some confidence.

Klopp clearly wants a defender in Jan and he's dropped so many hints to FSG:

- playing Hendo and Fab at the back
- saying publicly that if you have your 3 CB injured then you'd expect to sign someone
- dropping the hint that the owners are tight with their money
- ridiculing that covid is a blocker when other clubs have already started spending

He wants a CB but his style is never to confront the owners.

Sorry to say because i know he's still learning his trade but Rhys Williams is way too slow. Looks like he's running on sand.

Yep agreed no one wants to put the lad down but he’s too slow and doesn’t seem resourceful enough to find ways round that by positioning himself
