To me anyway it was clear as soon as Shaqiri and Thiago came on we looked much much better, more incisive and better passes esp forward. Shaqiri even set up 2 goals and was first sub to do since Milner in 2017 for us I think.
It looks to me over the last 5 games the likes of Salah and to.a certain extent firmino and the mf have stopped closing down the opposition, lost their edge so to speak. A big up kick up the azz is required imo and I'd drop Salah for the utd game and play shaqiri and of course thiago.
No bigger dressing down than to see urself on the bench Vs your greatest rivals....he may just get the message then.

So much disrespect on Salah. Probably his first dip in form while he carried Mane and Bobby who have been average most parts of the season and now people want him axed

Not trying to wum here but,
Liverpool when i've seen them lately are doing a lot of the basics wrong. Far too many long balls and sloppy touches in the final third, crucially in key areas.
However..
I do think the last few games when you've dropped points are kidding teams somewhat, as you've missed easy chances that usually your front 3 bury. For example even in the first half last night, barring some good keeping and poor finishes you'd have scored 3. Same against Newcastle, WBA and to a lesser extent Southampton.
Agree about Salah too, he looks a bit lazy at the minute.

Our finishing against Newcastle and in the first half was particularly appalling. Against WBA and Saints, we didn’t really create any meaningful chances.
