This is not an Ole out article but given that our so called rivals have both won the league playing beautiful football, at what point should we (the so called biggest club in the world) demand this from our club and manager?
Is it really just down to recruitment or should we now start to demand entertaining football consistently from the coaching staff?
If not now, then when?
The quality of football hasn't been great for nearly a decade now and I love united but watching this football is putting me to sleep and has ruined my enjoyment of football overall.
Is it solely the "ole out" supporters that are concerned about our inability to play well for a full 90 minutes, our dependence on individual players, and our reliance on scoring goals during good spells?

It is, but I just have no idea how you can even think that.
Liverpool’s style of football isn’t as entertaining as it was a few years ago. But they play far more entertaining, and attacking, football than we have this season.
We’re not even as entertaining to watch as we were last year.

Meh.
They didn’t score an incredibly impressive number of goals, particularly considering they routed several teams. All of us, City and Chelsea have won the title scoring more in recent years. City scored nearly 20 more league goals on their way to second place.
They ground out a *lot* of results with sheer grit, in fixtures in which their midfield was basically bypassed.
I’m not a fan of the Gegenpress to watch, personally, either. And it was that, or it was watching VVD ping 60 yard diagonals over and over and over again.
I’m not taking anything away from their achievement. Crazy points total. Crazy consistency. Crazy sheer bloody willpower. An incredible season, undoubtedly.
As much of a joy to watch as even a stuttering City, or Leicester or Arsenal or even Southampton? Not for me.

Hard to beat, and find a way of nicking games when they don't play well, like Fergie's last few seasons. Definitely not champagne football though (although I keep hearing they're the best team in world football, weirdly)

I don’t find Liverpool’s style of football particularly entertaining, by the way. Not the last couple of years.

We are only entertaining when the opposition gives us room to play, otherwise we are dull.

We’re entertaining, we’re just not very stylish.
we ship goals for fun and then start playing... it’s been a crazy season and I’m sure neutrals tune in more now than for a long time.
We do occasionally play some stylish football too, hopefully the consistency of that improves

That’s all fine, and I’d agree with the most part, but they were still far more entertaining than us, so bringing those other names into the equation is pointless. Though I’m not sure what Arsenal are doing in there. They’ve player shiiiiitty, dull football for years now.

I didn’t mind Arsenal last season. I thought they still often tried (and still do, just with even less success) to play a decent game.
They play out from the back, pass the ball short, and when I’ve seen them, their movement has often been determined. Creativity is obviously an issue, but they’re trying to keep the ball, work it hard offering each other options, and work it forwards.

You’ve got shiiiiiite taste then.
Arsenal’s football has been heavily based around counter attacking, hoping Auba bailed them out. This season it’s been even worse to watch as Auba’s been shiiiiit.
Arsenal are in the same category as Newcastle, Burnley and Spurs when it comes to entertainment ffs.

So according to the OP and his acolytes.
Not entertaining:
4-1 v Newcastle
2-1 away to PSG did nothing for them
5-0 v Leipzig was pure dross
3-1 away to Everton was brutal
4-1 v Istanbul awful watch
3-2 comeback win v saints, in which we were the better team over the 90 mins.
3-1 v West Ham (2nd half)
3-2 v Sheff Utd
6-2 v Leeds
2-0 v Everton in the League Cup.
All examples of good attacking displays. Of course not all our games have been like that but that's football. At our best under SAF we had to scrape through ALOT of games. Cheer the f up. Level on points with the champions with a game in hand

Pretty much this, the reason a good few of our games this season have been pretty entertaining is because we can’t defend, usually when we concede first the game becomes open and we attack, but games where we score first, the rest of the match is not a great watch.
Our football is very basic and a lot of the time rely on individual brilliance, as we do have some quality players that get the results. I’ll credit Ole for building a decent side but I feel to get to the next level, we need better coaches.

Also we are the second top scorers in the league with 9 more goals than City. Boring.
