Quite possibly but it still went above the wall and went in without a deflection which makes it better than any Kane free kick.

Jose is Kane's boss, surely he can just take Kane off free kick duty and tell him not to take them anymore?

It seems bizarre that a manager who people claim inspires players to run through brick walls for him doesn't have the authority to stop a player from taking free kicks.

He and the other players give Kane too much respect at times. Although with Jose I doubt he bothers so much with the offensive side of free kicks and probably just lets players decide in the moment.

probably why Lucas took it in the first place, banging them in all week in training with Hart in net

I can only think Kane smashes them in in training.

Yeah he has taken quite a few for England so maybe there's something in this. Weird if true though as Kane is ice cool under pressure for penalties so it would be odd if he was great at free kicks in training but not in matches.

I reckon he goes for power over placement. If he ever scores one it'll look incredible. The rest will go in the stands.

As long as Kane doesn't take them then i don't mind.

imo it should be Dier, unless Bale is on the pitch.. and then it should be Bale
