Step up

Bielsa needs to make a statement about yesterday's debacle and his disastrous substitutions. He made a Hugh dealabout spy gate .Now he should dosomething similar about this mess .He received loads of plaudits .It will be interesting to see how he deals with criticism .And more importantly how the team performs in the next few league games .Worrying times.

It's gone. History. No point in a public autopsy - it would only serve to damage our team further.

On to the next game...

Still saying that to myself. Will probably have another rage session at 7pm tonight though when our name doesn't go into the hat. What minnow will it be next year?

You don't have any friends do you Donn

I actually agree Donn.

you know crossed my mind, is Biilsa totally threw the cup.. trying different things out like a pre-season.. some things were baffling for a side trying to win a game of football.

I think I'd prefer it if we did throw it too, after that

I know that visuals aren't everything, but is the narrative of Bielsa as a great football tactical and motivational mastermind somewhat overblown. What I see is this constipated, fat and cantankerous old geezer who rarely shows any emotion on the sideline. I know that he guided Leeds to the PL, but does he have the personality and good judgement to inspire players and keep Leeds away from the bottom three? I hope so.

That description is quite insulting to Bielsa. He isn’t perfect (nobody is), but he has transformed players who were mid Championship level at best to winners of the Championship and now performing OK at Premier League level. So, yes, he can inspire his players, hopefully, to avoid the bottom three.

Yesterday was a “bad day at the office” - all teams have them now and again.

The question for Globaled and the rest must be who voted him on the list of best manager?..

It sure as hell wasn't Leeds fans, I don't think he wanted to be there, but its nice knowing the fans of the club he works for know the true Bielsa!..

He was put there by people it seems that have more authority and a bit more know of the game than those that want to bring him down!..

Live with it!..

I'm not a Leeds fan so I don't have to "live with it". I feel sorry for the "real" Leeds fans who have to live his recent FA Cup game fiasco. Leeds are a big club who deserve to be in the PL. I hope that he doesn't mess things up.

btw: Your JA606 personal intro. would suggest that you might be a little unhinged, you wouldn't be related to Bielsa by any chance?

I am a Leeds fan and you're another of many that have had a sly dig against our manager, fact is he was on the top 5 list of best managers which suggests that people in the know see him better than some dumbasses around the internetty!..

What should I be unhinged about, about me living in Germany?..

Or dropping dead in Germany?..

And my intro has nothing to do with Argentina, but that's something I can live with!..

Donn, does this pretence at being a Leeds fan never tire you? What do you get from it? Can you honestly find nothing better to do with your life than fritter it away pretending to be interested in the wellbeing of Leeds United? Its tragic, it really is.
