They could a give a hundred year contract but it will still be worth the same as 2 1/2 year one if we go bust.

Of course. So if that was a likely scenario, would Rooney and the others want to sign such a contract? It would hardly help his future career aspirations if he was part of a club that went bust and got relegated.

anybody know if there's any truth in the rumor that seems to be going around about Ibe being dropped due to Covid related disciplinary reasons? Seems a bit unrealistic to me.

this was overheard while shopping by the way. I think the club would do well to confirm there's no connection, and he's just out injured or something.
