Match threads

Also, in normal times, many of the City fans on here are regular or semi regular match goers. It isn't the case with all the boards, not a judgement, just a statement.

From the old 606 to this one , I honestly can't remember a match day thread that was started by a City subscriber.
I said this when 'we' were criticised for not commenting on an 'away' match thread, the usual where are all the City fans, they haven't got any.
Most of the posters on our board were around on the old forum. Personally, I don't post as much as I used to although I do occasionally respond to Got Better when he leaves the door open. In fairness though he takes it well unlike some who just spout bile

I’ve never really paid much attention to match threads. But I am really missing going to the matches.

Total bummer.

I went to Wembley for the CC Final against Villa.

I never thought for a moment it would be the last game I was going to for the forseeable future.

Hugely! Is it BT doing that ad at the moment that’s a bit of a montage with N Trance playing over the top?! Really made me miss going to the footy watching that!

I find match threads a bit peculiar
I’d never ventured onto a city match thread pre lockdown as I go to the game but I find it hard to get fully emotionally invested in these behind closed door matches and have browsed through the one on bluemoon a few times
It’s like an asylum

Agree with all of that

Bluemoon is the last place I'd look for any sort of measured debate.

All that is fair, every clubs fans can do as they wish. I hadn't realised and popped over to see how you were doing, and thought I was looking in the wrong place, or had been deleted by mistake. It wasn't a wum.
I might look at some other clubs now to see what they do. I know Leeds and Pool do as I've been on them.

52, I don't think any of us took it as a wum. City isn't the most active board and home matches are attended to a greater or lesser degree by most of us on here so we are unlikely to do a match thread. Yes we could do away match thread but we just don't, for whatever reason.
