1. Stop employing a stupid tactic that starves our world class players of the ball and scrutinises our weakest area for long constant periods of play.
2. See point 1, but if you ignore point 1, then follow point 1 after gathering evidence that ignoring point 1 clearly doesn’t work.
3. Play one of our huge array of attackers as a forward, not sissoko, our poorest player on the ball.
4. Learn to defend set pieces / crosses into the box.
5. All of the above are obvious and basic and any spurs fan on this site could devise a better tactical plan that we are currently using.
6. If we don’t change our philosophy then top 4 will not happen as we will continue to drop points, in abundance, all year.
Very disallusioned.

You don’t have the players to keep the ball for long enough periods and Jose won’t buy those type of midfielders.
He will look to utilise Kane and Son on the counter relying on their ability to create and score goals then hope not to concede.
It’s the Jose template, he’s won many titles playing this way and he will never change.

Of course. But the general drop off of late in the second halves is astounding regardless.

The good news is that missing out on top 4 will break Levy's love in with Mourinho and lead to him leaving sooner. I mean let's be honest, is anyone expecting things to get better the longer Mourinho is here? The longer he's here the more chance of him losing the dressing room with players getting tired of his methods and his criticism of them.
The bad news is that no top 4 means our good players could leave. But maybe they would anyway.

So glad he's not our manager anymore. He had his one moment in history but he's was he dup now. Game has moved on without him and his tactics.

i know United are a different beast to spurs but he at least won 3 trophies in a season and managed to finish 2nd with United.
he isnt going to do that at spurs unless their is change.

Funny thing is number 4 isn’t that much of an issue if you look at the % of set pieces conceded vs the league average.
It’s just that we are so negative we concede so many set pieces that it’s inevitable that one will go in

i just hope that we have at least one senior pro / coach in the whole place with the balls to actually tell Jose that it isn't working and he needs to change.
the fact that he cant see it for himself is alarming
