Beyond a means of wumming these things are pretty meaningless. If none of the penalties were given there’s no way of knowing what the result of the match would be anyway.....

Both Penited and Varpool see as many decisions go for and against them as any other side, it happens every season.

There's no evidence of any bias, even if anyone could be bothered analyzing every incident, and the points hauls they both enjoy are wholly earned.

Make no mistake, the extra points these two clubs trouser every season are a result of their superior performances, and nothing more.

Idiot # 2 has just got back from drinking his Giro money.

I fully expect us to get the rub of the green at the weekend too. We're UEFA and FA darlings like a big club should be.

I've fond memories of Fiorentina being awarded a penalty and then the ref changed it to a corner. Something like that would be lovely, perhaps a harsh sending off for violent conduct too.

It is too tiresome and time consuming to analyze every incident of bias, but the points haul they both enjoy is considerable.

Make no mistake, the extra undeserved points these two clubs trouser every season, makes a huge difference to league placings.
