Since that loss to Arsenal

Nov 1st, we lost to arsenal 1-0 at home... Relegation talk was growing (by some) and things looked worrying.

We were 15th place with a terrible 7 points total. Arsenal were 5 points clear and gaining momentum.

Fast forward a few months of unbeaten PL games and we now sit proudly at the top on 36 points, 12 points above Arsenal (who have played an extra game).

To sum up... LAA!

We’ve been on a serious run of form - fixtures have helped too though, and we have had some luck too with late winners.

Arsenal are awful. Genuinely I don’t even consider them as a credible force anymore. There are so many problems with that squad it’s hard to know where to start.

Sunday is a big game, but let’s keep it all in perspective, it’s hardly a title decider some are making out, we’re not even half way through the season!

Ironically enough I actually think Arteta will work well there, given time. I think they'll be a different beast with him in a season or two.

If they can keep the better players long enough.

Keano called it right when he said ‘let's not be kidded" after that arsenal result at OT

Depends how much they back him, too of course.

The players Arteta has spent £££ on look good. Partey + Gabriel for example.

Problem is, even if he's capable tactically to make Arsenal good/great again (I'm not sure he is) he's ruining it by his squad building. Holding new contract (also offered Mustafi one), Xhaka brought back from exile, Bellerin made a key player, Willian playing non stop for months, keeping the inferior keeper (and signing a beyond woeful back up) etc

I don't think Leno is the inferior keeper. He's one of the best in the league. Probably only Alisson has been head and shoulders above him in his time at Arsenal

Is it just me that’s Alisson overrated. He’s a good keeper and great presence in the goal but makes plenty of mistakes that he often has gotten away either by Liverpool winning the game or not getting punished.

He's guilty of overplaying at times and has given the ball away in dangerous positions but he doesn't make many mistakes and is very very difficult to beat on one on ones

Wouldn’t say he makes any less than other keepers it’s just that Liverpool have won so many games since he’s joined it’s kind of overlooked. He’s class at one and ones though.
