United desperately unlucky not to get the 3 points today. As predicted, Liverpool were nullified completely and created 0 decent chances. United always looked threatening on the break and were unlucky to have been caught offside so much. Just need a little bit more luck, a quicker pass for example.
I see Thiago is getting praised beyond belief by the media, don't get me wrong he played well but he didn't really trouble United did he? Some nice passes but none of them were threatening for example. He's got smooth passes and close control but didn't cause any headaches for us.
Last 15 minutes were just typical of the game, with Liverpool's GK proving outstanding to deny Bruno and Pogba with superb stops. He was also great off of his line throughout the match so fair play to him. Who would've thought a year ago that we'd be coming away from Anfield bemoaning how good Alisson was? He was the difference between the sides today.

I must say, it's sickening how much Sky over-market this match every year! I turned on at 13:30 to watch the buildup to Spurs and it was 'Liverpool, Man United, Liverpool, Man United' until just before kick off. I genuinely forgot I was about to watch Spurs it was that bad!

Just my opinion, if you think it's excellent or not that's fair enough. You've made good points on your article about things just not working in the final 3rd for LFC, as opposed to you not creating chances. Good and fair points.

We could have won but I'm not at all unhappy with the point. Was also impressed with the fact we didn't just fall into our own box late on and that we made real efforts to try to get the win as the game progressed. Shows that we are growing as a unit hopefully. We have a lot of tough away games to come but hopefully this performance can be a turning point and give us confidence to be a little more expansive in those games when the opportunity arises

Yeah. Last 15 or so it was United asking all the questions, not Liverpool. Desperately unlucky not to have won with the two chances. Can't do anything when a GK performs like that though.

Literally made saves from shots right at him? Any keeper of quality saves those.
Sorry, never understand the hype this guy gets or goalkeepers in general from making basic saves.
Unless your pulling out DDG level of saves from a few years ago don't waste my time
