Like most fans I feel its my duty to pass on my love for the owls to my kids,
Now my lad has embraced it big time and to see his smiling face at the match is great, because of the way he's fallen in love with it I thought I'd enquire about him being a mascot for his birthday.
I have to say the pricing is over the top to say the least..........396.00 quid has got to be madness.
For that you get 2 adult tickets and a 3 course meal and to meet the players.
Now don't get me wrong 2 tickets and a meal are fine for appealing to the adults but not much kop to a 6 year old
Why can't it be a case of the young un meeting the players and running out into the pitch with them before the game and all at a more affordable rate, the chances are you are already going to the match and could be a season ticket holder , so why the need for tickets.
Maybe I'm wrong and should accept its a buisness first and formost and every penny possible should be extracted in return for the honour of supporting my club
fair prices please.

So even the mascots are subject to a class system? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh you couldn't make it up, really. Does the VIP mascot get to cuff the other mascots around the head for their insolence? For that price I think he should get his own chariot and be pulled around the pitch by those blokes dressed as owls with human bodies.

Sorry Dry, but for that money you could get a PS3, Xbox and a telly with a few games thrown in.
Seriously, why not get him some footy boots, preferably black with no stripes, and wooden studs, a football, a case of ale (for you), kick him into the garden, sit back and enjoy.

All we need now is bonfire and the Colonel talking about how they used get a satsuma and a clip round the ear for their birthday!

I always wanted a satsuma but I ended up with a Honda step-through.

Whille the Xbox and stuff is probably better value, your not paying for fun for a while Your paying to give your child an experience that he/she'll never forget, and will carry for the rest of their lives.
