have to give huge credit to luke shaw who looks a completely different player since the arrival of Telles.
personally never really understood the issues with Shaw, always reliable defensively which for me is the main thing you want from a defender.
however this season he looks so much better going forward and has even moved over to set pieces which again are nearly always delivered into the right area.
looked comfortable against Salah yesterday and also mane when they swapped sides.
id go as far as to say hes been our best player so far this season

Telles still better if you want to push the opposition back and you are almost attack. But Shaw very good all rounder now. He has to get a look in for the next England squad. He's always been on the fringes but never, but he deserves to be challenging for a start based on form.

Telles isn't a very good player based on what I've seen of him so far. Defensively his positioning as a full back is atrocious, he doesn't tend to win his headers and his wingers often get shots off.
Going forward, he appears to have a decent cross and he's willing to overlap but I've seen nothing that makes me want to drop Shaw for him.
Shaw may not be a marauding left back, but he is tidy in possession and is showing signs of willingness to carry the ball 15/20 yards into space, committing opposition defensive players. Should of had an assist yesterday.
