Kante remains out with hamstring injury

Gilmour in.

I would like to see it, but I doubt it. Especially as he had a horror show at Leicester last season.

Six months ago at Leicester Gilmour was over run and looked a little boy lost. He has since had a terrible injury which he is still recovering from. No doubt he has potential but lack of game time is against him. Billy needs a loan. I'd offer him to West Ham on loan for next season as part of any bid we make for Rice. It would buy them time to find a replacement if Declan puts them on the spot next May and says he wants out.

Last season has very little relevance to this season and If that's your rationale as to why Gilmour shouldn't start...then experienced Jorginho shouldn't be starting matches ever again.
Jorginho gets overrrun and overwhelmed in midfield, on a regular basis.

Moreover...who's to say Gilmour wouldn't have learnt from that experience last season?
Gilmour is a clever player that learns very quickly.

This lack of gametime that you speak of is only due to said injury.
If we went into the season with Gilmour fit, he'd have got plenty of gametime by now.
Tail-end of last season...Frank was priortising Gilmour over Jorginho, before injury struck.

This is my concern. I am curious to see him in action but he has has so little game time this season, that throwing him on the pitch agst the team that ga e him a torrid time last season comes with a great deal of risk.

I thought Frank shd have played him agst Fulham, but Leicester is a different ball game.
