Cavani’s Complaint to the Bench

It’s hard to be too critical of our 2nd most productive player but his over carrying of the ball and decision making is frustrating.

He did exactly the same late on against Wolves and got lucky.

With regards to Cavani other than the 2nd half against Southampton he’s been nothing more than decent.

I do hope he starts tomorrow though.

Rashford just isn’t that good in fairness to him. If we want to get back to title winning ways he shouldn’t be more than a bench option.

In fairness to the act of selfishness in question, he probably thought he could do Fabinho for pace on the outside, which would’ve put him in a great position to miss yet another 1v1 in a crucial game.

Our leading scorer isn't good enough apparently.

14 goals in 29 games is more than decent. Rashford's passing has always been a bit rough around the edges.

Whatever the reason, it’s not good for the team spirit.

I just re-watched the goal... He created a yard of space for himself and got a shot off, that's what forwards do ffs

The deflection was lucky, but the movement and taking a shot was 100% the right thing to do.

Cavani should be on at the start of every game - at least until better is bought in. Rashford should be used as nothing more than his 70th minute replacement.
