In my opinion Liorente should start on Tuesday this mollycoddling of players is gone beyond a joke .In fact I think Aelying is wasted in the middle.He is needed on the right to provide an extra attacking outlet I think if a player costs a few million fair enough he should minded but if he costs upwards of 20 million he should be a good athlete as well as a good football player .

Just so you know The Dong, there is a 23's fixture on Monday, away to Wolves who are second in the table so would be a stern test, Bielsa was watching the Stoke game yesterday and would have been pleased with how Llorente came through it. I wouldn't be surprised if Diego gets a few minutes on Monday but it would be a big risk for him to play both games. Interestingly, other players have played minutes in the first team and with a limited rest period played for the U23's but not the other way round and not coming off a period out injured.
Without question, the plan will be for Llorente to start against Newcastle, you article is a touch irrelevant because that was always going to be the plan. The only question is, will he play in the Wolves game. I think he will.

Why would he be looking to sign a Championship DM? Phillips will play most games if he gets a knock Struijk can cover, Koch will be back in a couple of months and Llorente (a Spanish international) then gives us cover. Why sign a player who is unlikely to ever play.
