Half season(pretty much) awards

As we do not play until Monday, and then we have 5 games in 13 days or something , and im bored i decided to do this article as Villa postponed match aside we are halfway through the PL season.

Best player?
Kane.

Worst player?
Lucas or Hart

Most improved player?
Ndombele, wasn't given much of a crack at it last season however he has been 'like a new signing'- Aurier unlucky here tbf to him, Dier maybe too but still don't rate him at all.

Disappointing player?
Doherty, maybe harsh as i don't think he has been as bad as some have made out - he hasn't had a lot of chances, his signing has seemingly upped Aurier's game, however he has looked far inferior to our other RB when he's featured for us, I was expecting more.

Best overall team performance?
City at home, I think we were in control in a low block and set traps for them all game. The right game plan was perfect and a lot of perfect performances.

Best result?
United were terrible but has to be thrashing such a big side 6-1 at their place, amazing individual performances in that one too.

Best goal?
Ndombele vs Sheff U

Worst performance?
Everton opening day. Hadn't lost to them at home for yonks, and the players looked like they were still on holiday. Extremely poor display, which has been closely rivalled since, and frankly only 1-0 defeat flattered us.

Worst result?
I'm going to say the 3-3 vs West Ham. To blow them away first half like we did and then slowly let them back in the game 2nd half to concede 3 goals in the last 7 minutes (set piece, OG and 1/1000000 worldie). Could have picked any of the many draws that have felt like defeats tbf.

Best signing?
Hojbjerg, what a man. 8/10 or above in 80% of the games, exactly what we needed and can imagine he has exceeded the majorities expectations of him.

Worst signing?
Bale on loan - pretty facking pointless lets be honest. Halfway through the season and he's started one PL game ffs. Looked pretty pants due to the lack of football too. Wasn't getting too excited about him coming for this reason but thought he would be getting more minutes.

Overall rating at this stage - 7.5/10
Still in all the cups. Some great and poor results along the way, but we are in the mix at the top and only lose 3 league games.

Jose rating - 6/10
Results wise we have seen improvement this season, big games he has made a difference with his experience and bus parking. However his use of the squad has been poor so far on the whole, hopefully we don't see key players injured as a result. Then you have the Dele situation which we have done to death at this point.

Things to improve on in the second half of the season:
Not sitting on winning positions vs teams we can go toe to toe with
Allowing less crosses in the box
Drop less points in the second halves
