...to see the state of West Indies cricket these days.Hammered in New Zealand in November and December and now humiliated by Bangladesh. I remember the days when they were the most powerful team in the world, awesome with both bat and ball.
I know they have been wrecked by internal politics but they are a shambles.
The defeats have been heavy and they have just lost to Bangladesh by 6 wickets! Poor batting - only 4 reached double figures. Sloppy bowling - 19 extras in a total of 125.
Such a shame to see them struggling.

Don't recognise a single name in that starting lineup that is a first team player apart from maybe Alzarri Joseph. Wouldn't read too much into it.

Most of the leading players have not travelled. Plus Bangladesh are now longer minnows at home in the shorter format.

Viv Richards is the greatest batsman of all time in my opinion, he did it all without wearing a helmet and with attacking style.
God knows what he thinks of the current state of the Windies after what the team he played in achieved.
