Tbf some players do need to move on. It is just batural part of the game.

But yeah we had one hell of a ride for 3 seasons. That front three at their peak was phenomenal.

With virgil and ali solid and the two fb, esp young TAA sublime.

These guys are not past their peaks though. Most of them are in and around 28/29. They will come again, these players have been too good for too long to all of a sudden just become nobodys.

1 or 2 need moving on. Origi shouldve been moved on in summer and Id now say keita as he commands a high salary and we get nothing in return. That salary can be put to far better use. Apart from that the squad is strong. We lack a cb and that was a small, risky gap before a ball was kicked. With the 2 big injuries its become a huge crater.

This squad does not need massive changes, this squad has taken us to levels never seen before for some of us. It needs padding out in 1 or 2 areas. Cb and rb cover for trent being the most obvious 1s. Theres still a couple of very good seasons left in this squad if the majority of it is kept together.

How ironic it will be that after winning the title after so long a wait, fans will be denied seeing it shown off at Anfield. And they will have to wait again.

The dust has settled, again, after yesterday. I said then top four would be a realistic target, and it is, but there’s also the chance to get higher.

We have had a completely unpredictable season so far, and that extends across the board, and LFC is a prime example of that, getting beat 7-2 one week, winning 7-0 the next.

Let’s sit back, wait and see. For those of us who had to suffer three decades of pain, a blip in the middle of the season is something we can bear.

Just hang on in there people, the boss will sort it out.

Exactly we were due a poor run. Did folk think we were going to maintain these levels forever and it is similar to city last season in that they struggled to maintain their insane levels of consistency into year 3.

We will come again. It is not like we are staring relegation in the face. Some of the comments last night were a combination of cringe, embarrassment, and a ridiculous sense of entitlement.

Also when it all boils down its only actually a game of football
