Half way Point- Weird Season

29 games so far and so many weird occurrences

1. Our failure to score goals in the first 10 premier league games
2. The emergence of Cancelo,Dias,Gundagon, Stones and Foden as key players. Thats 5 players, that cant be normal. You can add Rodri to that, he will come good.
3. The ridiculous strength of the Defence

The season started with Pep extending his contract, some rival fans thought the club had made a mistake but what is clear is Pep had a plan. Dias and Stones may not have been part of the plan but Gundagon becoming Silva's replacement is a bit of a master stroke.

Gundagon has infused better midfield control which means less pressure on the defence and an improvement of form to Rodri whose defending is often underated. To think most City fans hated seeing Gundagin on the team sheet last season but Pep knows.

Another thing is Pep started the season complaining about the decision not to allow 5 substitutes. He then stopped going on about it, knuckled down and got into the business of making the team better. Sadly Klopp on the otherside let every negative issue get to him and sadly the negativity has spread to his players. If liverpool have a poor season, and thats a big if, the way Klopp has handled himself on the sidelines will be a big a turning point.

10/10 for Pep. Glad we still have him until 2023

Might miss the Manchester derby.

Hopefully it will do us a favour, there have been times especially when we were hit and miss at the start of the season when we were over reliant on Kev and tried to move everything through him

Dias is the signing of the season.

Yet to see him in Garth Crook's 'Team Of The Week' yet.

Already champions in my book. Liverpool are a mess, Leicester just don't have the strength in depth and United are still managed by a very poor manager.

Cinci a very poor manager indeed going over a year unbeaten away from home in the league.

In some ways, the current side's run is even more impressive, as it contains more wins (13, compared to nine) and we will have the chance to set a new landmark when we travel back to the capital to take on Arsenal next weekend.
