Dele loan depends on Spurs finding a replac

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jan/26/dele-alli-psg-move-hinges-on-tottenham-finding-replacement

Can’t figure out what Spurs are trying to achieve here. If ever there was a club to get a big fee from in this environment, its PSG

I can’t figure out how a loan helps Spurs, him playing & winning everything in France proves nothing, its a soft league and not really the kinda place for Dele to prove anything to those who doubt his quality/ effort to play PL football.

As for needing a replacement...... for what ??? A guy to sit on the bench once a month and play the occasional LC game.

I feel for Dele & totally understand why he wants out.... just can’t figure out what Spurs are up to here...... Just sell him or play him.

With the improvement from NDombele & Sissoko and excellence of PEH, surely there’s a opportunity for him to re establish that connection he had with Kane for all those years..... Personally I think he’s a far bigger offensive threat than Bergwijn or Bale (though there were some positive signs on Monday)

also, we should 100% keep Dele or sell him abroad. what is the point of a loan? there will sooner or later be some kind of injury crisis at spurs with the fixture pile up, and we will need bodies, and bodies who can produce and score goals. like Dele. if it were up to me he would be going absolutely nowhere this January unless a bid far above his current market value (which i reckon is about 25-30mill) came in from overseas.

GLC cant stay fit, Lucas and Lamela don't score. and Lamela is barely fit anyway. Kane and Son will inevitably sooner or later burn out. Bale is an enigma but we cant rely on him for goals in the tough games, Bergwijn doesn't score, and we cant expect NDombele to score game in game out.

keep Dele, and facking use him Jose.

I'm ok with him going to PSG for the remainder of the season, if he isn't gonna get a game for us then he might as well give it a go over there.

If he does well then he comes back in better form and ready to roll for next season or presumably we sell him for alot of money.

If he does badly then we sell him for alot less money but at least he's off the payroll.

Its a sad state of affairs but like alot of players who were underperforming at the end of the Poch era he just doesn't seem to be the player he was.

Yeah, funny how so many were critical of Dele when he was playing and now theyre being critical of us loaning him out .

Given the NDombele situation, i think we have to have some faith in how these players are being treated and why Dele is not getting any playing time.

im more concerned about lack of bodies as the fixture pile up takes its toll.... also have the HG issue.

others need to be out the door first. usual suspects have been named above

lamela lucas sanchez etc

Lets face it he'll never have a better chance to recapture his form than playing for the dominant team in an average league.

It could be just what he needs.

So desperate to get Dele out the club that we'll loan him but happy to have Lucas and lamela still getting minutes

Reckon we'll replace him with Olise

How close are we to finding a replacement?

My guess is that Levy is holding out for a loan fee for Dele. It would be the deal of his dreams if he could get back the £5m he paid for Dele by loaning him out. PSG also paying 100% of his wages of course.

The treatment of Dele has been disgusting, maybe all those stupid dropped points from late equalizers would not have happened with Dele in the team.

Dele is far more productive in the attacking third than some of the dross being picked ahead of him, and maybe in those drawn games Dele would have contributed to another goal to kill the games off.

If the 8m release clause is real we should be all over that
