Danny Rose

is hanging around like a stale fart and proving harder to shift than a post curry skid mark.

There were rumours a while ago he is content to sit on his 65K a week until his deal runs out this summer, and it looks like he will be sticking to his promise.

Maybe nobody wants him, but he has done himself no favours when trying to attract another club with the way he has gobbed off at times.

Rose came across as a complete mug in the Amazon documentary also.

Real shame the way it’s turned out. He’s been at spurs since he was a kid. Such a shame.

Wherever he ends up next it will be a big step down. Probably his best bet of continuing to earn the big money is to try and attract interest from the MLS.

This should give him the lifestyle he wants, which I think is the main thing he is after from football.

I don't think he ever got over Walker going to City.

Yeah, he's had his mental and injury problems too and he took a lot out on the club when he should have concentrated more on his career

Doesn't look like he'll be playing tomorrow night then!

Naturally, he’s declined with age and had also had mental health issues. The combination of both physical and mental deterioration is a disastrous formula.

I’ve never understood why he gets so much stick. He’s been a fantastic servant in previous years. I’ll never forget his goal against the Gooners at WHL. I was to the side of it on the shelf and mental celebrations will stay with me forever.

He pizzed me off with that snide interview to the Sun.

That said I don't begrudge him sitting his contract out and I wouldn't wish him ill. Hopefully he gets the move he's after.

I dont get his attitude.

He has said in the past he will just see out his contract. This seems to come from a position of spite to deny the club any sort of fee. Does he not think that this kind of attitude will help him find somewhere else willing to offer him a reasonable deal.

HE has a reputation for being someone who speaks his mind, a bit disruptive in the dressing room, and this kind of behaviour does not help to"sell himself" as a decent bloke who you'd want at your club.

He could have easily gone somewhere for the last couple seasons and had a fruitful last few years of his career.

I am completely indifferent to him now. Always liked him as a player, really gave his all and had a punchy attitude on the pitch. Good luck to him but for me he's spoliled his 'legacy' at Spurs.
