The transfer window SLAMS shut on Monday, but we have already done a fair bit of business. I think there is still hope of some outgoings, but the only real chatter about incomings is a left back.
This is how our squad looks at the moment. Remember the rules, a maximum of 25 players, a maximum of 17 non-homegrown players but an unlimited number of players born on or after 1st January 1999.

Obviously the first thing to note is that we would have to leave 1 non homegrown player out of the squad. Two stand out - Runar Runarsson and Mustafi. The Europa rules are slightly different, and both would have to be omitted to allow Martinelli to be included. The hope (from me at least) is both Mustafi and Runarsson leave the club in the next few days.
Could be a big few days for Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock. With Odegaard signing, their chances of game time has been reduced and there are rumours of loans for both. Eddie Nketiah has also been tipped to leave on loan, but that is less likely.

I say WB2 overrates him, he considers AMN to be one of our best players, whereas I’m saying he’s good enough as our backup. I’m not too worried if he goes but it seems odd to let him go to bring in someone else who would just be a backup in his place

It's only bonkers to people who believe that being told they are guilty of unconscious bias means they are being called a racist. Should make perfect sense to anyone who actually understands what unconscious bias is though. They might disagree but they'd not be confusing my statement with being either of the following...
