Will Dier be dropped vs Brighton?

Dier is Jose's darling.

An average clogger who will follow his instructions to the letter.

He will never be dropped, he's Jose's perfect player.

I thought Dier was playing alright. What are people's problems with him?

so was Lloris tbf, who knows who that was on but Dier was made to look like an absolute t1t for sure.

Dier been ok this season tbh. i like Rodon but pub league defending yesterday for the third goal.

Toby has lost it. Sanchez is a complete liability.

Tanganga cant stay fit.

Davies is make shift.

HUGE issues.

his passing from the back, his overall persona, cumbersome, not much of a footballing brain, just a big presence who can head stuff away when you play a low block and the irony is hes terrible at defending crosses.

im not saying Dier has had a bad season, but Jose is changing the defence a lot but hes a mainstay.

why didnt he just continue with the Toby and Dier partnership which looked good for a period then was suddenly broken up.

Dier for the 1st goal was comedy. As Mane goes past Aurier who was asleep, as was Davies who played him onside, Dier goes back to goal, sees Firminio over his shoulder and still does f all. He is chit.

I disagree that Toby has lost it. He's still comfortably better than the average PL defender, and I'm baffled as to why he's been left out recently.
