Will DCFC sign players before deadline?

Here's all your transfer updates on one page based on all the rumours swirling around. ( Love the excitement of it, Derby always seem to leave me disappointed)

Teden Mengi ( Man Utd) Central defender, fast , good passing attributes, would look good as the central defender when we switch to a back three with Wisdom at RCB and Clarke LCB.

George Edmundson (Rangers) signed by Rangers from Oldham so familiar with lower leagues. Managed 7 games last season and one this season. An off the field incident due to Covid resulted in him being dropped by the club. Also recovering from an injury. Known as the Fridge.

Lee Gregory (Stoke) known in the Championship having played for Millwall for a few seasons and scored fair share of goals although not prolific. Hasn't really found his rhythm at Stoke, Derby could be a better option for him but unlikely to be striking sensation.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (unattached) Winger, had a great first season with Cardiff under Colin in which they got promoted. Since returning to Championship hasn't really found the same level. Sacked due to drug related offences. Could be a decent bit part player until end of season only, concerns around his behaviour, but having had similar reservations about CKR best to hold judgement back.

Marshall Munetsi - French DM enforcer, linked with PL clubs too. Regular in French first division. Unlikely

Beni Baningime - (Everton) DM player, highly regarded but currently in reserve team. Possibly well known by Rooney and thought off. My concern is if we are after a DM then Bielik is a long term injured player ( sadly a curse of Throne strikes again).

Ravel Morrison - given his nomadic career where he's not found his home, under Rooney and CKR thriving he could possibly find the club for him. Highly unlikely.
